The Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 was not only an opportunity for Viettel High Tech (VHT) to showcase its leading defense technology products but also a story of the connection between technology, people, and the mission to protect peace.

HANOI – Lieutenant General Phạm Tuân paid a visit to Viettel’s exhibition booth at the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024, where he observed firsthand the group’s latest high-tech defense innovations and met with engineers and staff from Viettel High Tech.

The Vietnam Traffic Safety Initiative 2024 awarded first prize to the “Smart Traffic Violation Detection and Analysis Camera” by Viettel High Tech. This high-speed camera can detect violations at up to 250 km/h and connects via 4G/5G. The competition featured eight finalists presenting innovative traffic safety solutions, highlighting technology’s role in improving road safety in Vietnam.

Viettel High Tech continues to enhance its international award record by securing two product and service awards at the Globee Awards for Technology 2024.

From September 9 to October 25, VHT engineers completed the installation of the first Private 5G network system on VHT's equipment and provided training for their partner, Quadgen, in India.
