Qualcomm Praises Collaboration with Viettel in 5G Infrastructure Development

Speaking to domestic and international guests at the collaboration event between Viettel and Qualcomm, Gerardo Giaretta, Vice President of Qualcomm in charge of 5G Infrastructure, highlighted the exceptional partnership with Viettel engineers, describing it as an unprecedentedly rewarding experience for Qualcomm.

“The engineering team is incredibly talented. And, you know, they are highly driven. They are genuinely eager to accomplish a lot. This has been crucial for us, greatly enhancing our collaboration. Each Viettel engineer is always ready to learn, experiment more, and swiftly address any issues we encounter during deployment. This attitude is vital when implementing something new, like Open RAN and 5G infrastructure,” Mr. Giaretta shared.

This collaboration is expected to significantly advance the development and deployment of 5G technologies, further strengthening Vietnam’s position on the global technology map.
