General introduction

The full version of the system includes two major subsystems: The Techniques firearms training subsystem and Tactics firearms training subsystem. Both subsystem share the same softwares and databases, and use real weapons equipped with tetherless recoil kits to enhance weapon handling skills with realistic force feedback. The versatile subsystems can be separated to create customed versions catered to different customers’ needs.

Feature

  • Recoil kit: The provided tetherless recoil kit simulates realistic recoil force using high pressure CO2 gas. No actual weapon parts are modified, and the weapon equipped with recoil kit and other hardware like the laser emitter still retains similar weight, center of mass and dimensions, and also preserves the original hammering mechanism. The tetherless gas canister installed within the magazine is safe and easy to reload.
  • Techniques training subsystem: The subsystem allow trainees to practice with recoil-kit-assembled real fire arms, applying the same processes and techniques as field-training with realistic feedbacks. High precision bullet trajectory calculation and laser detection method ensure sufficient accuracy, allowing shooting up to 1200m with sniper rifle.
  • Tactical training subsytem: The subsystem applies virtual reality techs (VR) to create a comprehensive training solution for teamwork and tactical decision-making enhancement. Trainees are equipped with VR headsets, full-body tracking gears, and up to 2 tracked weapons, allowing free movements and interactions in a designated space. Their movements are mirrored by controllable 3D avatars, which can be observed by other trainees, trainers or guests.
  • Simulation and Instructor Software: Both subsystems shares the same softwares, providing limitless scenario creations and customizations. Instructors can select training areas, plan hostages, allied and enemy troops, and assign specific actions for each character. The system also supports customizable environmental conditions including environmental effects on bullet trajectories. Multiple types of data, such as post-action results and session replays, are provided to analyze and evaluate each trainee actions and behaviours throughout the entire course of action to help improve training efficiency.
